Restoring Vision, Restoring Lives: WYCDF’s Free Eye Medical Outreach in Abeokuta

Wamufat Youth Community Development Foundation (WYCDF), in collaboration with Vision Savers Eye Care Center and supported by Rotary International, is proud to announce a major health initiative in Abeokuta: a Free Eye Medical Outreach aimed at providing much-needed vision care to underserved communities.

💡 Why This Matters

Vision impairment and preventable blindness continue to be major public health issues across Nigeria, especially in rural and semi-urban communities. For many, the cost of diagnosis, treatment, or surgery remains out of reach — leading to avoidable suffering and lost opportunities.

This outreach program is part of WYCDF’s broader mission to empower communities by improving access to health, education, and social support.

👁️ What’s Being Offered

This 3-day medical outreach will provide completely free:

• Cataract Surgeries

• Medical Glasses (Prescription Eyewear)

• General Eye Treatment and Consultation

These services will be delivered by a skilled team of optometrists, surgeons, and healthcare volunteers, working hand-in-hand with local and international partners to bring quality care to the people who need it most.

• Venue: Olowu Road, Gbagura, Abeokuta 110101, Ogun State, Nigeria
